Ugh, WoW keeps dragging me back. I can't quit it, there were some very hot girls in my last guild =P.

I know. I'm in a similar boat except I don't know that I have many hot girls in my guild.

I've only been playing for about 2 years now; got in just before Cata started and I have a pretty elite resto shammy (I love some of the end game gear you get). However, the damn time sink keeps eating all my free time and I don't want to be distracted from school now that the school year is starting up again. I could renew my subscription and upgrade my account with MoP here in another 10 days, but I really need to wait for this semester to be over if I'm going to get back into it; I need to pull my grades up.

Final Fantasy doesn't make someone nerdy. XD There's nothing to know about them. From a storytelling perspective they're all actually really bland.

Storytelling, you're mostly right. From a gameplay perspective, I know every secret to the games, inside and out. Although, I'll be the first to admit, the series peaked with Final Fantasy 7 and it's been mostly downhill since. 10 was fun, but 11 was an MMorpg and I never bothered to get the network adapter for my PS2 so I've never really played it. Afterwards, 12 was fun but it was so vastly different from any of the previous FF games that it's hard to judge. Then we got 13 and that damn game makes me want to fucking vomit.

Now, someone who knows Tolkien, or at least Warhammer 40,000, to a level of detail? THAT'S nerdy.

Ooh! Tolkien! I read The Hobbit back when I was in 6th grade and LotR over the next few months and I've loved them ever since. I tried reading some of the other Tolkien works on Middle Earth, starting with The Silmarillion but they just didn't have the same good story telling behind them that the others did.

Never got into Warhammer, but I used to collect YuGiOh cards and went to tournaments quite regularly. Do I get bonus points for that?
