A power struggle (land, resources, control of the people) where they use the innocent as pawns for the Moslems.

For Israel, basically acting like the Germans that mistreated them. They just don't do the whole genocide thing.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
