RE: I Would Like To Talk to Atheists Who Aren't Assholes. Do Any of You Exist?

Didn't you see the warning sign, when you plugged-into the internet? It said: BEWARE: here be trolls!
On the internet, in forums (and anywhere you can post under a nick), about 90% of people are trolls. Regardless of religion, race, country of origin, etc... ~90% are trolls or can be if pushed in the right direction.
And your OP is just one good shove in that direction for most atheists. Which would make this the most likely reply to you: Fuck off!
But some can stand their ground, even with pushes and shoves.
Now, we're not here to try to convert anyone. We're here to find people who think alike. As a christian, I'm sure you get that same feeling when you go to christian forums, or the church. To get a sense of not being the only one out there who thinks like this.
If we go on religious forums, then we're usually trying to understand those religions. Understand why it is that they think that some imaginary being actually exists, and that you should behave in such and such way to appease that being.
Eventually, religious people start ranting about their sky-daddy and our little cogs in our heads just refuse to compute so much nonsense... some people then tell you exactly why it's nonsense, perhaps not in the most civilized way.
If you really want someone to try and convince you that there is no god, then tell me: why do you think there is a god?
