The hallucinogen in Salvia is the most powerful one known to man, so it is probably not the best substance for an inexperienced user to get their feet wet with. I don't know what your experience is, but Salvia is not something to casually fuck around with. You should know what you're getting into first.
I tried it one time, and it was one of the weaker extracts. They come in potencies from 5x to 60x, and I tried the 5x. It was quite powerful, and as I was smoking it I suddenly felt as if I was going to fall on my face. The good news is that it only lasts for about 30-45 minutes as compared to shrooms and LSD which last for about 8 hours.
Don't let Salvia's legal status fool you. It is very powerful.
