I don't trust your logic, simple as that...
So, without the knowledge that the earth was round, it would be more reasonable to assume that Lucifer took Jesus up to a high mountain to show him a vision (which he could have done anywhere) than for him to look over the flat earth at all of the kingdoms from above?
