Is it just me or is ol' Donald there looking kinda pathetic. I mean, he's generally pretty damn sad but when he puts his nose into the political world, it's like his IQ drops 30 or so points.
And anyway, the records he asked for, are any of those really sealed in the first place? I mean, for a passport or college transcripts to be sealed, wouldn't that defeat the purpose? Or is he asking for the application he put in to get his passport and/or to get into college? Dollars to donuts says he's looking for evidence that Obama used his father's being Kenyan to get preferential treatment by college; not sure what he's looking for with the whole passport thing, though.
Anyway, I'm not sure exactly how Kenya does their citizenship, so I can't judge whether or not he's a citizen there. I know he's a citizen in the US and he was born here, so he qualifies to be president. If he has a dual citizenship, both Kenyan and American, I don't see that becoming a real issue since Romney could easily get dual citizenship with a simple visit to a Mexican consul.
But to jump from that to another couple of interesting pieces of information, since George Romney, Mitt's father, was born in Mexico, he couldn't be president, could he? He still ran for office. I even notice how much things have changed in just a few years. Anyone here remember when Ahnold was the golden boy of the GOP? He won the recall election to become governor of California and the Republican party loved him for it. They loved it so much, the talking heads on Faux News were suggesting we change the constitution to allow people born outside the US to be president. If they thought that then, why are they getting so worked up over Obama's birth certificate?
