There's probably a mix between the two. He looks just as silly to me on the inside as he does to you, but I can't say how many people agree with me. If I had to guess, I would say that most people take him semi-seriously. He is sort of a celebrity in a way, so when he is doing things relating to that, like on a tv show of his called 'the apprentice', for instance. I don't think people take him as seriously when he tries to do politics, but I don't know this for certain.
