Well, if perfection is defined as the "greatest possible being" then it by definition is possible.
Not necessarily. Assuming greatness is a true property and not a delusion. If it is eternal, it doesn't earn it's greatness making it less great the earned greatness. If earns it's greatness, then there is infinite potential of greatness, and there is no "end" point reaches.
It's impossible to ever reach the end of an infinite future. The same way, if eternal greatness is less great then earned greatness, and earned greatness requires growth, it will never reach the greatest possible greatness.
