lol. In any case the time tabling cock-up has finally been resolved and as of 7 pm yesterday the experiment has begun. First, some house keeping:
In that case I apologise for the misconception and thank you for the support.
Here is the timetable I will be working around: http://personal.rjheywood.com/timetable.php
Obviously, I need to keep the sleeping pattern consistent so I need a schedule that can fit around Friday. The plan then is to get the core sleep for one to four AM and have naps at 9AM, 3PM and 8 PM. On Tuesday and Friday, the 9AM one will need to be shifted back an hour to better fit the time table.
I had a little trouble adhering to this this morning. I went to bed at 1 and set my alarm clock for 4. Though it did wake me up I turned over and slept for another hour or so. I need to try harder to maintain this. The teething troubles should be over soonish though.
EDIT:
I've gotten up from the 9AM session, I don't feel as relaxed as I would have after a full night but I don't feel like I've only had a limited number of hours.

I don't know anything about health vs polyphasic sleep though, so I am interested in how it turns out for you
