I know plenty of people who think I am crazy and that I am missing out on important information, but anytime there is a vote they send out information on the measures and I do pay some attention to presidential coverage so I can make informed decisions on who to vote for.
I like national and world news. Local news is usually annoying. I don't like seeing people on the street interviewed, they say the stupidest shit or state the obvious. "How does the robbery make you feel?" "It makes me feel very unsafe, you never know who could come in and do something like that" e_e
Besides, I don't care about a shooting in another town or a car accident on the highway. Only local news that I care about is weather and anything political that's important.
I tend to only watch local news when I'm eating, or surfing the net in my room, because I like to watch something while I'm eating and I like background noise. I definitely find news more interesting than when I was a child, but I ignore what I don't care for. And I never read a newspaper. I go online for news relevant to my interests.

It's awesome. I'm trying to lose some weight so I joined a gym to use the elliptical. I have a bad knee so I can't go around running or play DDR like I used to. Anyway, I put on a good podcast and do it for an hour and it feels awesome.
