So you are saying that there is no english version of the bible which is 100% the word of god.

I will try again. This question is to find out what you use for yourself. Which bible(s) do you use?

again It depends on what I am doing. I gave you a list already.

If there is more then one please tell us which one you consider to be the one closest to the word of god in english?

The 'Word of God' is a term used to describe a revelation from God. Any Holy bible can be considered or even contain 'The word of God.' To ask which revelation is the cloest revelation of God is to not understand the term you are using, nor how bibles are translated.

Please provide the links to each one. The reason I want this is so there is no mistakes or confusion made on our part if you provide the links to each version. This way you will have more time to answer questions.

Really you have not been clear. Your have been acting like a politician.

This is EXACTLY what this thread is about! I do not appear clear to you because you do not understand the depths of the questions you are asking. You have a singular understanding and believe your understanding is the only way 'christianity' (as you understand it) can work. This is what I have identified as a 'sunday school understanding' of this religion.
You have a very basic simplistic understanding of Christianity and believe it to be the gold standard in which All Christians Must operate, and when someone gives you an answer that is different than what you expect. you believe that they are evading the question because the answer given does not align with the your limited understanding. Meaning you are too proud to acknoweledge that you question is so far off base that you can not recognise a proper answer when one is given.

How can we ask you questions about the bible if you cannot tell us which version.

This is a another perfect example of what I just said. you believe that all christians have to only subscribe to one bible.(You even admit this later on) Even in light of the fact that I directly told you I use many different translation depending on what it is I am doing. But, none of this matters to you, because it does not match up to the sterotype you are working with. Which causes you dismiss what was actually said because you believe with all of your mind that all christians can ONLY have one bible. Read this next part carefully as I am only going to tell you this once more. I use more than one bible. If you want to know which one I use in a given situation then provide the situation and ask a question.

No, not if doctrinal issues are not a concern. Again I primarily seek out literal translations which are the cloestest to a word for word translation as possiable in the english. But do not limit myself to them, especially if I am tring to explain a complex story like the parables of the talents to someone who has never heard it before. So instead of using a KJV or Amplified I wll use a NIV or Easy to read version. Same story it's just in the dynamic or paraphrasic translation the 1st century greek idiom "Talent" has been replaced with a modern term "Bags of money" or large sum of gold. For me as a teacher it is far more important that the core concept is understood, than the foolish idea of scriptural purity.

It just come to me. I assume you go to church. Which bible does your church use? Please provide the publisher and anything else so we can know which one it is.

It depends on who is preaching, and what they are preaching about. Amplified, NKJV, NIV, Easy to Read, KJV, American Standard, the McAuther study bible. The Blue letter was used just a few weeks ago.

Can we get to this so important life changing question now?
