Hmm, if only, "I don't want to do that." was a reasonable and accepted response during an interpersonal discourse.
I am an honest person who is an introvert. I am troubled by how disingenuous I have to be to avoid hurting other people's feelings. Weird really, how we can't just speak our minds because we live in a society where speaking your mind is discouraged to the point that everyone assumes that there is some kind of game afoot and they can get what they want if they only choose the right words to jostle you out of your position.
We should devolve decision making to a series of coin tosses to avoid any true way of knowing each other. Maybe we could revert to goat entrails as a way of making decisions, that way if you don't want to do something you can slay a goat and read whatever you want into the way the guts and blood splay out on your scrying table.
After reading this back to myself I realize that I am probably in too strange a mood to really make much sense today. Maybe it was followable?
