Rick was the one who was starting to go into bad places with his own issues at the time and I kinda saw the Governor as what Rick could turn into if he continued down that path.
Still, I can't help but hope Merl stays along and has a showdown with Rick. There have to be some hard feelings for Merl in that he still blames Rick for cuffing him to the roof in season 1 but Rick, on the other hand, is going to feel tremendously guilty over that (although, a lot less guilty after seeing the comparitive luxury Merl has been living in since then).
Nice to have someone who keeps those who are to lazy to read the comics informed
thank you.
Yeah, well, I love the comic but I'm too poor/cheap to buy them so the challenge is to find places where I can read them online. What can I say? I'd download a car or food if I could.
I live on facebook. Come see me there. http://www.facebook.com/tara.rizzatto
