It's kind of interesting, the fear of death. I think many Atheists fear death more than Theists, I actually have an inverse effect of that. I don't have a fear of death because I know that it is inevitable. One day I won't exist, this isn't a scary condition I didn't exist for an eternity before I was born and everything seemed fine. In fact the inevitability of death helped me overcome my fear on many occasions when I am doing or about to engage in some high risk activity.
It's also made me value life so much more than the Theist does. Every time I see some boring fat woman herding her boring fat christian children into church, so they can waste valuable time of their precious lives, I remember the value of life.
