So, you may as well admit that or continue to make an ass of yourself...
You have a choice now, slink away or provide proof that the cause of the universe exists within the universe...
Up! There it is! The Argument from Ignorance rears it's ugly head once again. How do you know the universe we now observe had to be created by some deity? Current cosmology does not claim the universe came ex nihilo. So you are arguing from ignorance. "I cant' imagine how X could have happened. Therefore, X Deity did it." FAIL.
How do you know your "deity" must be unknowable? This is an absolutely perfect attempt at obfuscation - making your arguments and assertions immune from evidence or falsifiability so you can keep believing, having faith, feeling comfortable, and feeling justified. FAIL.
You cannot arbitrarily define your deity into existence (anymore than Muslims can). Why do you believe this? How did you come to learn that this deity (which you have yet to define) is unknowable? Besides that, if it's unknowable then you can't know it! So you have just contradicted yourself. It doesn't seem that you have carefully or critically thought through your beliefs.
It seems you don't actually care whether or not your beliefs are actually true. You just want to believe (in your own version of Christianity) because it makes you feel good.
-All of this vitriolic cursing at the non-believers, all because you have made an assumption about an unknowable deity. WOW.
p.s. - An "unknowable" deity is fundamentally indistinguishable from a deity that DOES-NOT-EXIST.
