are you that thick?
I showed that the homicide statistics whithin the US is avergage when compared with other western nations and in some cases even lower (France has a higher homicide statistic)
And you then keep whineing along
"guns are bad, because I say so, I dont need statistics and ignore others, I build up my own interpertation of reality and I dont care if that interpretation is disproven"
When homicide statistics are the same or higher in nations with strickter firearm regulation - this means clearly that the pupertrators in such crimes resort to using other weapons.
Those who want to commit a crime will find methods to do so!
Quote:But again, THIS STUPID ATTITUDE is exactly what the gun manufacturers want to use to instill fear to maintain the climate that produces the negative things we all know ARE causing the climate that make gun use more active.
And another conspiracy.
Unless you can back it up with facts!
Quote:Your bullshit is exactly WHY the status quo is being maintained.
What bullshit? That I defend the American right to bare arms on the basisi that statistics show that they dont have the influence on the homicide rate which you prophecise and lie arround with?
The only thing I critisised was that guns shouldnt be selled to irresponsible users and that backgroundchecks should be required.
Quote:IT IS A MONEY ISSUE, and gun manufacturer's have no fucking interest in creating mental, social, or economic stability. More crime and more fear means they can keep their market and expand their market. So when say the "Bushmaster" company CEO votes, they don't just vote for "gun rights", they vote against any policies that might reduce stress, depression, domestic abuse, street violence. Keep the fear keep the crime, and gun sales go up.
another conspiracy.
It is not a money issue and even if it were, I dont see what is wrong with making profit by selling firearms to responsible users.
Where can people actualy vote against policies that prohibit domestic peace and which increases social peace?
Alot of liberterians vote against such bills because they would be funded with taxmoney which contradicts their political ideology.
You simply lied by talking about statistics which didn`t exist, and when the actual statistics were provided and disproved your possition - you simply regressed into using this weird conspiracy.
Quote:YOU play right into these monopolists hands by saying "guns are not the problem". YES THEY ARE, they are the prop in the bullies hands that allow the bully to maintain their monopoly. YOU allow them to set the tone of the conversation.
where the fuck are the monopolists? The arms market is filled with competition! There are hundreds, if not thousands of arms manufactors in the US and even abroad who sell in the US.
The bullies hands? wtf!!!
Conspiracy! Nothing more to say.
It fits into every single aspect of how a nutter thinks.
You propose that there is a conspiracy to keep something in place out there without providing evidence, and then you acuse everyone who oposes your position to be part of that conspiracy or to act unwillingly in it`s support.
Quote:And please spare me you went from "It aint so bad here" to "We are average" still does not make the number of gun deaths acceptable. Again, tell that to the Fire fighters. Tell that to Trevon Martin, tell that to the families of Sandy Hook. Tell that to ANY person who has a family member affected by a gun assault or gun death.
Tell my ass!
You are using tragedy for your delusions. You are a vulture!
These redicilous appeals to emotion have no place in a debate surrounding social politics. Only cold logic has.
Do you know that in France people can legally purchase and own fully automatic assault rifles after going through background check an psychological tests? Yes the kind of rifle which is forbidden to be owned in the US. And jet, the French aren`t whining, even after the terror attack on a jewish school in Touluse last year.
That`s because decisions on such subjects are made on the basis of rational inquiry and the conclusions drawn out of such, and not out of hysteric emotional reactions.
Quote:32 A DAY is average? I DON'T FUCKING CARE. We are NOT nor should we behave like a third world country.
I am going to explain this now as if you were a little kid. Most people are not in the need of such, but since you are so "special" I will do it.
Dear little Brian.
Let`s have some "fun" with numbers shall we?
In the United states, 300 000 000 people live.
In Germany 80 000 000 people live.
In average, a person farts 14 times a day.
Which means that in average there are 4 200 000 000 farts in the US in one day.
In Germany there are 1 200 000 000 farts a day.
This doesn`t mean that the US is a country in which people fart more ofter!
Because in the US there are more people, hence more farts.
Holly shit, thank you for POINTING OUT THE FUCKING OBVIOUS!
Evolution outside the issue of humans, is ALSO a FUCKING RATIO. So? More people more crime, NO SHIT!
But that doesn't mean you don't try to reduce it fuckwad.
Japan has basically half of America's population WITHOUT the same landspace, and I can tell you that entire island is mostly city and very little suburb. Cram 150,000,000 into a city the size of California, AND THEY STILL HAVE RATIO WISE A GAP IN GUN DEATH NOWHERE CLOSE TO THE U.S. Tokyo is one of the safest cities in the world to live in. How is it they can cram that many people into large dense populations and STILL have less crime?
Care to explain that dipshit!
More people more farts? That's the best you got?
