Is this thread assuming we forget all the people that don't get a chance to be happy now they have been killed in religious wars, terrorist attacks, witch trials, killed by aids because they aren't allowed condoms or because they state facts or believe differently? And perhaps you would have to ignore all the people who suffer daily because of strict religious laws.

But I'm sure everyone who isn't dead, has lost a loved one or suffers because of religion is perfectly happy with their magic friend.
