Yeah, I guess it's pretty easy to have that kind of outlook when you do something for health reasons (I'm guessing that's your reason).
I became a vegetarian for the animals. People can tell me all they want about where I can find meat from animals that were raised humanely, the ONLY thing that matters to me is that it, as they say, had a face.
Because of my reasons for making such a choice, my folks had a tough time taking me seriously at first, especially since I was only 16 at the time (I'm 20 now). They saw it as "just a phase" and constantly mocked me, and that angered me to no end. All I wanted was for them to take me seriously. But then again, when was the last time anyone took a 16-year-old girl seriously for any reason whatsoever?
These days, they do still mock me, but I've stopped caring.
Don't get me wrong, slaughter houses are straight up hellish. Some of these videos of animals being slaughtered is absolutely disgusting. I don't think people should eat meat if they can't kill an animal them self, I know I wouldn't be able to kill a cow, chicken or w/e- so I think it's only natural for me not to eat meat, since no real omnivore would have empathy for it's prey.
Well, I can definitely understand that- those with low confidence hate those with confidence and actual courage. Whenever you do something good, there will be a flock of people to heckle and insult you to normalise their own abnormalities. Those that wanted to stop slavery were not popular either. Keep up the good fight

I was sponsored by Scuf pro controllers and my team would eat 'pro' players for breakfast. I decided to university instead of spending the last year doing tournaments all around Europe.. Bitch.
