While I haven't read many of your posts, i have to believe that you have had some relevant input into the conversation you have participated in. If I am not mistaken, deleting your account would also delete all your posts and that would diminish those conversations.
Do us a favor. Let the account stay. Then, when you come back, it will be here waiting for you and all of us along with it.
