You may as well say people decide their height for a political purpose. People aren't born with that that height of course but it does develop naturally as they enter maturity. No-one sits down one day and decides they would like to be 6ft 2. And there isn't a 6ft 2 gene you can point out it's a complex combination of factors.
So, you claim there's no 6'2" gene, right?
Are you then implying that being gay doesn't have a gene either? That's it is also a complex combination of factors? Like say, 1 from a set of identical twins come out of the womb as gay and the other straight might be caused if one of them had a penis or vag in their face for 4-6 months?
