Like I said before ..., it's about dominance. But in society theft is an animal instinct and is about dominance. Most thieves target people not solely for their looks because I have seen some broke-looking folks on television talking about their personal experiences with theft. But more so about opportunity and control. You see a fat wallet you desire and the holder of said wallet is alone in an alley and the likelyhood of getting caught is slim you would go for it. Once you've commenced your assault he/she fights or attempts to defend themselves (the thrill of the hunt for the thief), when he/she is beaten and battered and finally gives up the wallet, the thief takes his prize.

That is a cruel way of putting it but that is the way I see it.
