I'm someone who believes it's important to seperate art and an artists beliefs. For example, if it were discovered that John Lennon was a white-supremist closeted Nazi, would it make his art any less beautiful? Not at all. I definitely wouldn't respect him as a person, but I would still be able to appreciate his art. Unless the art is blatantly advocating or expressioning objectionable views(which would take away from the art for me), I can maintain that seperation.
Also, I like a long of songs that a referring to religion or God, but that doesn't mean I support those beliefs. It's kind of a weird thing.
