He has his wireless internet shut off for reasons beyond me. Maybe it's so we won't be on the internet all day, even though I still am on his. lol

I can get on the AF more safely via proxy at school than at home, wouldn't want him taking other crap from me. I have a laptop, but useless without his wireless internet.

Is it a WEP encrypted network or WPA?

WEP encryption is easy to crack... Look into BackTrack. It's a usb/cd-bootable linux os with macchanger, aircrack, etc. all pre-installed. I think they've got a tutorial on their site too.

WPA is harder to crack, but still possible. I think you have to bruteforce it though.

But yeah, if you're determined enough, anything can be cracked.
