We do have a multiparty system, it is not along those lines, it is simply that the public education system has a certain character which is designed to serve the interests of the people that made it, to express their values and to ensure that their will is accomplished through the institutions that they created.
This does not mean that what the public education system teaches in necessarily wrong, I think most of modern science is probably fairly accurate. It is more that the vision of what education means and what it is is defined in a very narrow, nationalistic, economic and narrow sense that fails to capture the liberating and transcendent sense of learning and reduce it to a shallow pre-professionalism or a materialistic liberalism.
