Did you see my analogy of atheist approaches to the meaning of life in bash, above?

Shell scripting is for people who can't handle memory management, noob.

P.S. Doesn't look like a valid bash script to me.

P.P.S. Do you even know what the above code snippet will do? Hint: it's simple.

ETA: I'm surprised someone schooled in C / C++ wouldn't immediately recognize that the code I posted would dump core due to a null pointer exception.
