Yeah, many of us have been there. It sucks.

I think Thor offered the best advice:

Maybe once they realize you're not "learning" what they want you to learn they'll give up and leave you at home.

Start asking about all the atrocities. The rape, the murder, the slavery, the incest. It's all in there and it's all horrific. "Learn" far more than they want you to learn and continue to regularly remind them that you want no part of it all the while.
