I use it because you can't distinguish between adolescent prejudice and philosophy.

Alvin Plantinga is no slouch at philosophy, having been president of the American Philosophical Association (the main philosophical organization in the US) and having dramatically challenged the philosophy community in the US.
The irony is not that I use epistemology and have an invisible friend, the irony is that you accept your scientific fundamentalism and naturalistic prejudice as real philosophy and attempt to sway others using only psychological techniques designed to make adolescents feel uncomfortable about growing up.
God doesn't talk to me audibly, God talks to me through images, through the Bible, and other people giving me special, prophetic words that confirm specific things going in my life "Your name is Joseph" - 2 days after I prayed about changing my name from Jay to Joseph or "You are the type of person who likes to take a computer apart and put it back together" while I was looking for work as a computer technician.
