Here's the problem: you don't love truth either. You've just decided that you're in possession of it. And as such, you've closed your mind to the possibility that you might be wrong on any point. If anyone's not a philosopher here, it's you; philosophers actually care about the real truth, but you can't release your deathgrip on the ideas you've chosen to accept. You're not open to anything that doesn't confirm your preconceptions.
