woman rights in Islam

It's nice to know that the Islam really take cares the right of girls. In that way, no one can harm the women. No one will be abuse. Every woman will be respected by other people.

I hope its sarcasm. The BBC had an article (curse my poor linking skills), where an Iranian girl was sentenced to death by a Sharia court and hung for the crime of BEING RAPED.

In Iran and other countries that follow Sharia, the rights of women are severely curtailed. This means that women can not go out without a male chaperone, (even its its just a male child), Cant go to school. Are forced to cover up in ridiculous ways and are generally treated as second class citizens.

Islam may have its good points but its treatment of women isnt one of them.
