It's also illegal to beat your wife in california law also.
Also you're acting like all the evidence i presented of ACTUAL 9 year old girls who live under these laws doesn't exist.
Also I still can't find where it says a 9 year old can get married in california. I know you can be 14 or 16 or something like that with parental consent, the website you directed people to in the link just says if you are under 18 you need consent from the parents.
Even with this being the case, and it has to be ruled by a court I doubt any court in america would allow a 9 year old to marry and even if they would I don't agree with it just because it happens in america.
This is the one case I managed to find of someone very young marrying someone very old. No surprise to see it involved child abuse as i suspected and religion.
As I've said to you before the child marriages and systems in islamic cultures do allow for the following things to happen LEGALLY.
Children being pulled out of education, getting pregnant, being beaten, having sex with men who are their fathers age. Show me a case where this can happen in california legally and you might have a point.
Until then all you can really say is that you agree with girls being pulled out of education, becoming pregnant, beaten, and having sex with men their fathers age. In that case all I can say is we have different standards.
