Abortion and Paternity Rights

I think a whole lot of people would have a whole lot easier a time with abortion if they stopped thinking of humani in terms of what they might (luck willing) one day become, and more time on what they are.

Probably a great number of parents wouldn't be quite as disappointed when their children are not what they dream them to be... but let's be clear: this is an emotional subject, not a logical one with some non-subjective clearcut answer. I mean, if you're already going to attach 'person' to a lousy lump of cellz, you might as well go all the way with it.

But do we see them going all the way with it? Of course not... this is because it's not about logic. Maybe one day we'll stop eating very definite personalities, and stop fighting for the rights of very definite non-personalities. But then, maybe one day I'll grow a beard!

Oh wait, I already have!



... That's not me, but you get my point, no?

Atleast ones from stupid people.

I don't know of a single person what is not stupid... leaves us with two options:

1) Hive mind in desperate attempt to patch this up, with some unification theory for flavour.

2) Devouring lethal levels of Wheaties every morning... after all: tis the breakfast of CHAMPIONS!
