RE: Most so called Christians have invented their own "God" that they worship

Let us take a step back for a second and examine the Theistic Christian God. So far this god has these qualities.
1. God has perfect Morals.
2.God has infintite wisdom and knowledge or at least perfect knowledge/wisdom.
3.He is infallible.
4.He is all knowing.
5.All powerful (at least according to us)
6.And is technically everywhere or all emcompassing.
I am sure there are a few I might be missing, however those are the general concepts. Now with all those qualties there is no chance that one could even relate to such a being. In fact no one here can truely understand what perfect means. Once you reach a stage what is perfect you will obviously see improvement somewhere. Now how this relates to the topic, I think it relates simply they create their definition of God which basically they can relate to the best. Since this being unlike a lover, parents or family, or close friends whom you can relate. God who seems to never talk physically, touch physically, or even let you see him physically. Who is also beyond you intellectual understanding, even conceptually beyond you, I feel that in order for the mind to cope with the total lack of emotional and physical connection. Much like (I cannot believe i am admitting this after years of debating against it) an imaginary friend, you create a concept that you can relate to.

I would be a televangelist....but I have too much of a soul.
