1. God has perfect Morals.
2.God has infintite wisdom and knowledge or at least perfect knowledge/wisdom.

4.He is all knowing.
5.All powerful (at least according to us)
6.And is technically everywhere or all emcompassing.
I am sure there are a few I might be missing, however those are the general concepts. Now with all those qualties there is no chance that one could even relate to such a being. In fact no one here can truely understand what perfect means. Once you reach a stage what is perfect you will obviously see improvement somewhere. Now how this relates to the topic, I think it relates simply they create their definition of God which basically they can relate to the best. Since this being unlike a lover, parents or family, or close friends whom you can relate. God who seems to never talk physically, touch physically, or even let you see him physically. Who is also beyond you intellectual understanding, even conceptually beyond you, I feel that in order for the mind to cope with the total lack of emotional and physical connection. Much like (I cannot believe i am admitting this after years of debating against it) an imaginary friend, you create a concept that you can relate to.
For a start I don't believe with this notion of perfect morals. Our morality has been developed over the years. For example, racism used to be socially acceptable and now it isn't and rightly so. Its not like we just gave black people their human rights. They had to fight hard for basic human rights. It is no longer acceptable to burn someone for being a witch as we know that is crazy. Soon in the future I hope that Gay marriage will be allowed and bigots will be called for what they are. Our developing morals allows for positive change in this way. God claiming perfect morality... I'm not so sure. According to the bible he flooded the world killing everyone except for Noah's family and two of every species. A mass genocide of this proportion would be considered evil by any person with a sound mind but when God does it, it's just?
If God has infinite knowledge and wisdom then he could immediately cure cancer and all serious diseases so that children do no need to ever be born into agonising pain from conditions they are born with or develop. By choosing not to do this he is allowing innocent children to needlessly suffer and die when he has the knowledge and wisdom to help them.
He is infallible... Tell that to all the starving children in Africa he fails to help.
All powerful... Well he clearly seems reluctant to use his power for any real purpose if he does have power.
If he is omnipresent then he has to be incompetent as with the ability to be everywhere at once carries the burden of choosing not to help those in dire need and thus taking blame for not helping them.
I don't believe in God but just pointing out the failure in logic around the idea of a personal God.
