Thank you for validating my point that you will interpret the Bible in such a way that it is always magically in line with your presonal views. So you don't believe that John wrote Revelations under god's instructions, because that doesn't suit you. There are many others who do believe that Revelations was written under god's instruction because it suits them.
Sure it isn't a book to take literally, there's too much bullshit and too many contradictions for that to be the case; but the fact remains that people pick and choose which parts they want to take literally and which parts to reject.
