You would get a response appropriate to someone in high school sort of like I gave my son when he was in HS twenty years ago. We encourage and make suggestions. That is far from higher level. That is age appropriate. People at the AGE to still be in HS have not lived long enough to have accumulated enough of the experiences that people after HS have. In fact people do not become completely adult until around 26 on average. It is nothing personal. It is just the way life is.

But I do expect people not to get in over their head and to learn what over their head means. However if you challenge me giving me no background info I will respond. I really am not a nice person.
The challenge is already there. The IQ test was designed to evaluate mental retardation. I say that anyone who relays the score info is really just screaming "I'm not retarded!". Your demeanor does not affect me, so what type of person you are is irrelevant, unless you're screaming, then I'm taking notes.
And electricity was originally designed to transmit work at a distance to replace local steam engines powering factories. All the newfangled light bulbs and stuff were invented later. I do not see your point when the original purpose of electricity cannot be discovered without research.
If that is too hard for you the Arpanet, aka internet, was originally designed to exchange government research data. The was originally designed to make that exchange easier, that meaning URLs and hot links and such.
One can be excused for looking at the web today and missing the point it was orginally intended and first used to exchange scientific information amid the twitter and the penis pictures.
