In a very limited way. All of us, I am sure, will automatically and simplistically rate users' intelligence as something along the lines of: retarded, below average, average, above average, intelligent, very intelligent, extremely intelligent. These are obviously only subjective interpretations because each person will have a completely different standard of what he or she defines as intelligent. For example, somebody who you rate as "very intelligent" might actually be utterly pretentious and disingenuous. A person you rate as "average" might turn out to be a humble mathematical genius with an IQ of 190. For this reason, I try to reserve judgement about the members on this forum.
As apophenia quoted, I actually agree with Socrates (or "So-Crates" as Bill and Ted would say) with his quote "I know that I know nothing". I have enough humility to realise that, in the grand scheme of things, I know hardly anything, and neither does anybody else. Daniel Dennett has undertaken some excellent work at revealing the extremely limited nature of the human mind.
