All countries at war have people committing war crimes but there is something sinister about the war crimes in Sub Saharan Africa which is more disturbing than the rest (probably aside from what happened in Chile and what the Soviets did in WW2). Throwing bucket loads of cash at Africa is not going to instill morals in these people, it just provides them with more weapons to carry out unspeakable crimes.(May 13, 2013 at 11:36 pm)Rhythm Wrote: The only items on the menu are shit and a shit sandwich? No doubt, war is a shit sandwich. Any claim to moral high ground is quickly lost after the hostilities begin. Has there been any conflict in history where there weren't atrocities committed by all sides involved? I doubt it. Even worse is when the chain of command turns a blind eye to it all, or even encourages it.
There was a case of a girl raped by so many men that her rescuers couldn't tell which side of her was her buttocks or her frontal genitals. These people need morality imposed upon them by force if necessary.
