An idiotic ex-friend of mine once said "I like to think that the stars are the souls of our dead loved ones and that my nanna is sparkling up there with them".
My thought process was as follows:

In the end I found the word "strange" and used that while looking awkwardly at my feet. It's rare that I get to hear that magnitude of stupidity in the physical realm. I wasn't ready for it.
