Yes, our feeling of morality has changed over the ages, but I think there is an underlying principle that hasn't changed, which is to reduce the amount of suffering for a specific group of individuals (the "in-group", as opposed to the "out-group" which is all live that must serve to minimize the suffering or maximize the utililty of the "in-group").

At least from what I can see all that has changed over the ages is the definition of this in-group, not the concept of morality itself.
