Well I'm glad God also blessed the Coca plant, and the Poppy... and oh, all matter! Since synthetics are derived, obviously, from natural materials, they too were blessed during the Creation "week" (and btw, do you mean actual week or aeonic week?).
However, if marijuana were legalized, it would be very easy to tax. With the government funding grow-ops, they could offer lower prices than street dealers, and so easily beat out the competition. I don't have to tell you that sales would be huge, and the government would make a lot of money. I live in BC, and I'm actually surprised that it hasn't happened yet here.
