In UK Islam is the Future and Christianity is the Past

I personally think it's because islam is more believable than Christianity and it's a growing trend. Plus it's easier to convert people to a book which has whatever meaning you want it to have, you can always use the old "This is out of context" excuse or "This has been translated incorrectly" with the quran.
I find the quran more believable than the bible that's why I looked into it more, but when I did look into it I found myself thinking is god really relying on sending me this message via 100 different translations, interpretations, opinions and heresay that's lasted 1400 years. Muslims can't even agree on which excuses are best to use when dealing with people who question the quran.

The woman you used as an example, her second name is leyland or something, I had a brief look at a profile of hers online and she seems exactly like the type to be converted to whatever trendy religion is becoming popular, she was already a christian who was involved in yoga and other eastern philosophies, it wouldn't surprise me if she believed crystals had healing properties or that unicorns exist.
