I actually had a few friends go there to see the remnants of Islamic civilization in those areas, they were and still are kind of backward and arrogant people, most of those areas were renovated and their accents are awful. We should have took the opportunity to occupy them during WW2 when they were sitting on their arses like pussies, nice weather over there.
