I'll concede that it is almost certain she knew the Catholic church's stance on homosexual relationships, which makes accepting church doctrine as a condition of employment dishonest. I would never seek employment with any church.

Anyhow, John V's post was mocking the idea that people are happy about a woman agreeing to something she wasn't set on complying with. It's fair to say the context wasn't what is lawfully right, but what is personally right, in that statement. Law is not relevant in that case.

Edit: I edited this post pretty heavily. At first, I just wanted to concede because I skipped the article, making a few mishaps, as well as my previous post looking like shit. But reason is to be had!
