But unfortunately for the Catholic church, they can't legally say "no gays" when hiring. I find anti-gay bigotry a bigger wrong than someone hiding their homosexuality so they're not fired.
But according to both sides of this dispute, her homosexuality is not the reason she was fired. Supposedly it was just because she got artificially inseminated, which supposedly is a big enough breach of morality to fire someone. It's almost as bad as firing someone for eating meat on Friday during Lent.

Right. It's like arguing that businesses should be allowed to hire & fire based on race & sexual orientation as long as they include it in a contract. You can't weasel your way around laws like that.
