My atheism is simply a lack of belief in deities. I hold no dogmas, no doctrines, I live my life based on (as I see it) the societal norms that have come about through countless generations of societal (and human) evolution, and within the laws of the state I reside in (England).
I never think about deities or gods, because I have no concept of them, which after all is all my atheism is about. To put it another way, I also presume you don't believe in Santa, right? How often do you think about Santa? Same for me but with deities.
In all I am a pragmatist, in that any evidence for a claim will sway me to take it seriously and accept it as factual (at least until something comes along to disprove it). I hold my 'beliefs' in the here and now, and give little thought to things that 'might be' unless there's a body of evidence going forward to support it.
In a long winded way, my atheism doesn't define me, rather just a facet of me (i.e. my stance of belief on deities).
Gotcha! But that still doesn't explain your presence here? I'm assuming its for entertainment purposes. Which is fine.
You seem to have a Libertarian pragmatism with leanings of an Agnostic! Anyway, your words haven't been clouded by emotion or cynicism, which is appreciated! ...a compliment btw.
In other words, I haven't seen the venom! Maybe if I wait long enough, or antagonize you enough I will!
