When talking about Somalia, it's necessary to determine if one is speaking about Hergessa or Mogadishu, they are very different entities. Hergessa being the capital of Somaliland, which does provide a center of central government for Somaliland. Mogadishu the capital of Somalia, which currently has a very weak central government and is in a general state of anarchy.
I think this is the beginning of a trend, and other groups are going to want and attempt to break away from their countries and form their own. Like the shatter-belt region in Europe, the Balkans.
