They are taught to view their beliefs from one very specific pov and have been trained to address opposition from one specific pov. If you challenge them beyond how they have been taught they will move on. Theirs is a faith who looks for a very specific profile or person who is looking for the answers they can provide. If your not one of these people they will indeed move on.
But I think a Mormon would be a good addition. Never spoken to an active one before, only ex members.
I also to take the time to thank all of you for your interest and willingness to have these discussions. I want to also thank those who run this board the oppertunity to have a place that allows these discussions to freely take place. In addition to thanking you all I do want to also take the time to apologize if I have over stepped or you have found that I. Haven't been one of the gracious Christians who never has an ill word to say. There are certain topics that emotion tend to govern more than others, and if you were on the negative end of an emotional discussion I do want to apologize again.
I will make an effort to try and keep emotion at bay and simply address the questions being asked.
It is always funny to me to watch this absurd behavior from someone who also has a pet god claim. "My fictional super hero is real and your fictional super hero is not".
"I am not like the others", sorry, yes you are and have as much evidence for your imaginary friend as they do.
When you do this it would be like going to a si fi convention watching a Star Trek and Star Wars fan argue.
Keep it up, I love a good laugh.
