Up until the point an honest answer would require admitting that your God has qualities almost any human would agree qualifies as evil. Then you back down and simply dismiss the questions as irrelevant.
Maybe you enjoy being questioned, but you certainly don't enjoy serious challenges to your dogma.
Well that is also evolutionary, no one likes having their ego's bruised by facts, most humans would rather live a comforting lie than face reality.
I do however find value in at least those who get their claims trashed lose the fear of it. At a minimum it gets them to see is as humans, not monsters. If we pull them out of their delusion, that is a plus, but if they don't they will at least see that we are not out to get them, just their claims.
Here is psychologically why humans fall for the god delusion.
"It feels right"
"It sounds good"
"I can bastardize science to fit my superstition"
"Billions of people cant be wrong" although constantly we have proven that they can be.
And all that crap starts with the unproven naked assertion that invisible sky daddies by any name exist.
So any crap you start out with is going to produce crappy formulas and crappy conclusions. (Insert pet deity here).
