God wants to know you personally. If he made heaven on earth, we wouldn't seek Him and neither of us would have the pleasure of knowing each other. "Religion" is the quest to connect the created to their creator. Here's what God says to you: "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Scientists do not yet know where consciousness is. In philosophy, the argument between Materialism and Dualism rages on. Materialists say that firing neurons somehow constitute thoughts. Dualists say that an immaterial mind interacts with our neurons. In Christianity, the immaterial mind, or soul, is spiritual and eternal.

Did scientists observe the mutation? Have they traveled back in time to find out how the sexes came to be? You're right that
if the sexes evolved, the female would have to come first. But there is no current physical evidence relating to sexual origins.
