I'd love to see that happen. I feel like Obama has let me down majorly in this second term - not that I would have voted for any Republican candidate in any case.
I really wish Obama was a quarter of what the tea bagging shitheads say he is...but he isn't. He's a centrist with an occasional progressive urge. With that he has still managed to maneuver the republicans into fucking over Hispanics again in the house which will probably assure Latino democratic majorities for the rest of the century. Yes. 14 republicans voted for the senate bill - which is a horseshit bill anyway - but 32 voted against it. The House is threatening to not even bring it up even with pissing away $30 billion to build a Maginot Line between the US and Mexico. As long as Americans keep electing shitballs like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz there is no hope for any short term solution to our problems.
